MS Powerpoint Presenter Tools Available at the Meeting

We are looking forward to your presentations at our conference and are excited to learn more about your research. In order to help ensure a smooth and successful presentation, we wanted to provide you with some information about the presenter tools available in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Some of the features available in PowerPoint presenter tools include:

ž   A timer or clock to keep track of time

ž   A laser pointer or spotlight to highlight specific areas of the slide

ž   A pen or highlighter to draw or highlight on the slide

ž   A screen blackout feature to hide the slide from view

ž   An on-screen keyboard to enter text or data during the presentation

ž   The ability to switch between slides and control the progression of the presentation

ž   A screen annotation feature to write or draw on the slide in real-time

To access the presenter tools in PowerPoint, click on the "Slide Show" tab in the top menu and select "From Beginning" or "From Current Slide" to start the presentation. During the presentation, you can access the presenter tools by right-clicking on the slide and selecting "Pointer Options," "Pen," "Highlighter," or "Eraser" to use the corresponding tool. You can also access the presenter tools by pressing the "B" key to toggle the screen blackout, the "I" key to display the slide timer, and the "S" key to access the annotation tools.
