What You Need to prepare for K-ETA Application

• Valid passport
• Valid e-mail address
• Face image photo
  • For PC: Image file
  • For mobile application: Photo taken by mobile device camera during application
• Credit or debit card that can be used to pay the fee.
  • Fee: KRW 10,000 per person (Approximately USD $10)

From K-ETA Application to Entering Korea

1. STEP 1Access the K-ETA website.
2. STEP 2Input the required information after checking the contents for each category.
3. STEP 3Make the payment of KRW 10,000.(Approximately USD $10, excluding additional fee)
4. STEP 4Your application will be under assessment for a maximum of 72 hours.
5. STEP 5Check the results of your application.
6. STEP 6Once approved, you are ready for entry into Korea.

Notice on Temporary Exemption of K-ETA for 22 countries/regions(As of April 1, 2023)

K-ETA will be temporarily exempted to the 22 countries/regions listed below from April 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024, as part of a plan to support the revitalization of the tourism industry during the commemoration of ‘Visit Korea Year (2023 ~ 2024)’.
Kindly note that traveler who is eligible for the K-ETA temporary exemption wants to apply for K-ETA to receive benefits such as not having to submit an arrival card upon entry, he/she may apply for K-ETA and pay the fee.
※ Previously approved K-ETA will remain valid until its expiry date.
