Diabetes is a chronic disease in Korea that regards a variety of medical staff, from primary care to specialists in general hospitals. Therefore, the understanding of diabetes should start from the beginning through students and medical trainee, and education with a professional system is needed. In this respect, this session with medical trainees is very important in that it is the understanding and education of diabetes, and the fosterage of future generations. In this session, participants will be provided with a chance to introduce and discuss various cases of diabetic patients experienced in the actual treatment field. Through this session, we hope that by identifying various cases of diabetes with each other and sharing knowledge between seniors and juniors in their management and treatment, we will be able to raise interest in diabetes education and treatment and serve as a foundation for fostering future generations in diabetes.
