It is our great honor to welcome you to the 16th International Congress of Diabetes and Metabolism (ICDM 2026), taking place from October 15 to 17, 2026, at COEX MAGOK in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
Under the theme “Together for the Next Leap in Diabetes Care,” ICDM 2026 is structured to explore how meaningful progress in diabetes care can be achieved through deeper integration across disciplines, technologies, and clinical realities.
This year’s program reflects the full spectrum of diabetes research and practice, encompassing advances in basic and translational science, clinical therapeutics, epidemiology and genetics, as well as emerging developments in digital health and artificial intelligence. Through this comprehensive and interconnected approach, the congress aims to foster a deeper understanding of how innovation can be translated into clinical impact.
In addition, ICDM 2026 addresses key clinical challenges across the lifespan, including gestational diabetes, diabetes in the elderly, and complications such as cardiovascular disease, nephropathy, and neuropathy. Through this balanced and multidisciplinary program, the congress seeks not only to present new evidence, but also to connect that evidence to real-world application and patient-centered care.
